We’ve popped together all of the key information about how our design and print process works including how long it usually takes
from start to finish when placing your wedding stationery order with us.
The fun begins
Start thinking about styling. Remember wedding stationery is the first glimpse your guests will get of the style, tone and atmosphere of your special day. Browse instagram, Pinterest, magazines and collect images that catch your eye and inspire you. We love to see these initial ideas as they will help to inspire the direction of your design.
Get in touch
Fill in an online enquiry form on our website. Let us know as much detail as possible about your wedding and your initial thoughts about your stationery requirements.
Come and meet us
We’d love to meet you at the studio and discuss your ideas in more detail over a coffee. This will help us to better understand what you are looking for and create a concept. You will also be able to look through samples for further inspiration. However, if a face to face meeting isn’t possible, we can always arrange a phone call or Skype about your ideas.
Pricing, timelines and agreement
Based on our initial consultation we will put together a quote for the work and outline timescales for completion. Once you have approved the costs we request a non-refundable payment of 50% of the final fee before any design work begins. On receipt of this payment we will send over wording guides for you to fill out which are crucial for us to be able to start work designing.
Design process
Then it’s time for us to start working our magic! We will send through design proofs based on discussions from our consultation, from here you can let us know your initial thoughts and suggest any changes you want to make. We will then continue to work on your design until it is perfect and you are 100% happy with it. We include 3 electronic proofs in our prices; additional proofs and changes will be charged at an hourly rate. The whole design process usually takes around four weeks but this is completely dependent on the complexity of the design.
Printing and delivery
Once you have approved the design and we have received your final payment we will begin printing and ship your final design to you. We aim to deliver within 2 weeks of receipt of payment.
Don’t forget
Once your guests have received their beautiful bespoke invitations, you may want to continue the theme with bespoke on-the-day stationery. We also design and print all on-the-day stationery from table plans to name cards, menus to orders of service. And don't forget those all important Thank you cards.
